Windblown stumps can be a huge problem for a stump grinder if you haven’t got the right machine for the job. Over the years we’ve dealt with many windblown stumps, in gardens, on golf courses, estates/farmland and schools. The bigger ones can be a bit of a challenge.

In some cases the root plate can be taller than a man, creating a bit of a challenge as the cutter wheel only reaches half that height. This doesn’t cause too much of a problem if you have the luxury of a digger on site with you, but more often than not you find yourself on site having to systematically grind away at it with just the grinder.
